Awnings come in a variety of different styles. Awnings are classified mainly as either manual or automatic, but within these categories are the various different awning models.
Certain modern awnings come in a retractable, manual ‘cassette’ style. This means that the awning retracts into a solid enclosure. The enclosure is weather resistant and adds another layer of protection to the retracted awning.
The folding arms can be adjusted parallel and precisely by the arm stops in any angle between 5~70 degree. The awning can be controlled manually and electrically through different driving devices. The structural frames are made of high strength aluminum alloy with stainless steel bolts.
Other awning styles include telescopic motorised versions. These are supported entirely from the wall and don’t need vertical support rods. This makes them easy to use and operate, being controlled simply by a switch located near the awning, and opened and closed with an electric motor.
